It shows an ancient guitar from about 1800. In keeping with surrealistic dreams, the guitar is penetrated by tree-like growths and itself "ossifies". In the process, it dissolves, breaks and becomes one with the organic form of nature.
The sculpture is based on and is a tribute to Dalรญ's world-famous painting from 1934 "MORNING OSSIFICATION OF THE CYPRESS".
