This work was created as a tribute to John Lennon as an outstanding singer, guitarist, songwriter, peace activist and co-founder of the "BEATLES" together with his Japanese wife Yoko Ono. My mother is also Japanese.
The work of art goes far beyond the unusual, aesthetic representation of a disassembled guitar. In view of Russia's war against Ukraine, which lasted several years and is the first war in the immediate vicinity,
Lennon's call "๐ช๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฆ ๐ข๐ฉ๐๐ฅ ๐ถ๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ ๐ถ๐" is more relevant than ever. The sawn-up guitar reflects the situation as does the crumpled call for peace. "๐๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐" is one of his most famous songs and a credo for the hidden messages in this collage.
His authentic dated autograph and his logo, which shows his self-portrait with characteristic nickel glasses, have been integrated. The certificate of authenticity is enclosed.
In December 1980 John Lennon was killed at the age of just 40 in Yoko's presence by five bullets in the back by a fanatical fan! The five double slits in the guitar symbolize this murder.
