"DYING VIOLIN BY BERTUCCI, Rome 1920“

Sculpture with a violin by FAUSTO MARIO BERTUCCI, Rome ca. 1920. It is in a very good condition without woodworm damage, no bassbar crack, no soundpost crack to the back. The sculpture is a homage to Dalí's world-famous painting "MASOCHISTIC INSTRUMENT" (1934) and "DADDY LONGLEGS OF THE EVENING - HOPE!" (1940).

It shows an old, well-played violin, which, according to surrealist nightmares, it dissolves, melts into a drop and becomes one with the organic form of nature.

Skulptur mit Violine von FAUSTO MARIO BERTUCCI, Rom um 1920. Die Geige ist in einem sehr guten Zustand ohne Holzwurmschäden, kein Bassbalkenriss und kein Bodenstimmriss. Sie ist eine Hommage an Dalís weltberühmtes Gemälde von 1934 "MASOCHISTISCHES INSTRUMENT" und 1940 "DADDY LONGLEGS DES ABENDS - HOFFNUNG!". Es zeigt eine alte, gut gespielte Geige, die nach surrealistischen Albträumen sich auflöst, zu einem Tropfen schmilzt und eins wird mit der organischen Form der Natur.
