"DYING HARP AFTER DREAMING OF A MUSICAL PIECE IN GIS-MINOR"

Sculpture with a historical Art Nouveau concert harp from ca. 1900 in the dramatic process of dying. Bronze, driftwood, mahogany, rosewood and spruce on granite pedestal,
216x107x60cm², II-VII/2019, collection of artist

This sculpture is unique similar with the others. Another individual sculpture or painting can be made on request, too. If you are going to buy it for your own please make me a reasonable offer (also trade).

The sculpture is based on and is a tribute to Dalí's world-famous painting from 1941 "PASSENGER VEHICLE DRESSED IN 1941". https://wanderlord.com/automobiles-history/interesting-car-by-salvador-dali/
It shows a pedal harp, which is - in accordance with surrealistic nightmares - penetrated by wooden excesses and "ossified" itself. The bronze sculpture, a pretty, female "harp" sits lovely on top and does not notice the destructive effects of her dream. It dissolves, cracks and becomes one with the organic form of nature.
